Mr W K (Bill) Shooter CTA

Bill founded the practice of Henstock Shooter after leaving a reputable firm of Leicester Accountants.  Bill is a Chartered Tax Adviser, he is an Associate of the Institute of Taxation (CTA).

Bill has extensive knowledge of all aspects of taxation and is confident and firm in all dealings with the Inland Revenue.  He also has a specific knowledge of the medical sector.

Bill has now established the firm of Henstocks which he hopes to build on, develop and widen his client base.

 
Joanne Sharp BSc (Hons) ACCA

Joanne joined Henstock Shooter in 1994.  She has a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Computing and in 2003 she qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) as a Chartered Certified Accountant.  She gained her Practising Certificate in June 2005.

Joanne, now a Partner of Henstocks, deals with company accounts, corporation taxation, sole trader and partnership accounts and personal tax.

 
Caroline Shooter MAAT ATT

Caroline joined Henstock Shooter in 1990.  She has since become a Member of The Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) in 2002 and a Member of Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) in June 2003.  She is currently studying for her Chartered Tax Adviser's qualification.

Caroline, now a Partner of Henstocks, deals mainly with tax matters, sole trader accounts and payroll.

 
Jean Smith FMAAT

 Jean joined Henstock Shooter in 1980.  She became a Member of Institute of Accounting Society (MIAS) in 1978 which later became Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).  In 1982 she became a Senior Member of Accounting Technicians and finally, in 1994, became a Fellow Member of Association of Accounting Technicians (FMAAT).

Jean deals with all aspects of accountancy, taxation and VAT.  Jean also deals with the majority of our clients in the medical sector.

 

Catherine Bell

Catherine joined Henstock Shooter in 1999 on a temporary basis after completing the London Chambers of Commerce and Institute Private Secretaries Certificate and a Diploma in Information Technology.  In 2004 she went on to complete the RSA Level III Diploma.  She is now studying towards her AAT qualification.

Catherine is Henstocks Office Manager and deals with the secretarial work and the day to day running of the office.  More recently she has been dealing with clients' bookkeeping and payroll requirements.

 

Philippa Bell

Philippa is the most recent addition to Henstocks staff, joining us in February 2007.  After leaving the childcare industry, Philippa decided that a career change was necessary.  Philippa is now the front face of Henstocks, answering all incoming calls, welcoming clients and assisting with all secretarial work.
